We collect as little as we can, and this page lists all of it.

What we collect from clients and visitors
- Your email address, if you order or write to us.
- Your website's address and your practice's name, if you give them to us.
- The results of our tests of your public web pages.
- Payment records. Card payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see your card number.
- If you call us: your name, your role, your phone number and our notes of the call.
Practices we email
We email health-care practices about the accessibility of their public websites. For that we keep each practice's name, street address, public email addresses, phone number and website address, and sometimes the names of doctors listed on its website. They come from public business listings and the practice's own website.
We scan the practice's public pages the way any visitor would; the scan doesn't log in, fill in forms or change anything. Before we send, an email-verification service checks that the address works. The emails go out through an email-sending service from several addresses that don't end in northshelfaudits.com, each signed with the first name on the mailbox that sent it.
Each of those emails says it's an advertisement, gives our postal address and has a way to opt out. Reply "no" or use the unsubscribe link and we stop emailing that address. To have your practice's details deleted, call us at (586) 217-0032 or email hello@northshelfaudits.com. We delete them, except your practice's name, website and email addresses, which stay on our do-not-email list so we don't email you again.
What we don't collect
This site has no ads, analytics or tracking scripts, and it loads nothing from other companies' servers. We don't want patient information. Please don't send it to us or include it in anything you email us.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies.
How we use your information
We use it to do the work you ordered, send your reports, answer your questions and, for practices we email, to send those emails. We don't sell it. We share it only with the companies that host this site, take card payments (Stripe), check email addresses, send our email, and provide the software services we use to run scans and prepare reports, and when the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your account, reports and messages while we work together. Ask us to delete them at any time and we will, except for payment records we have to keep for taxes and what's on our do-not-email list.
